Tamara L. Rodriguez

Tamara was born in Orlando, Florida. After having visited family in Texas while growing up, Tamara made Texas her home when she relocated to attend law school. Tamara studied and practiced law in the Houston/Galveston area for about ten years. While in law school, Tamara interned for Judge Harold DeMoss, 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and clerked for Judge Mark Davidson, 11th District Court, Harris County. She has been in the Rio Grande Valley since November 2000. In addition to her active trial practice, Tamara has participated in the local master naturalist program.

Tamara's practice focuses on heath law. Licensed to practice in state courts in Texas and in the federal court for the Southern District of Texas, she handles medical malpractice cases for doctors. She defends physicians in audits and recoupments, False Claims Act allegations, OIG investigations, credentialing matters, Texas Medical Board grievances, and whistleblower cases.  In addition to her healthcare practice, Tamara has enjoyed success at trial in defending wrongful death and serious, personal injury cases.
